The MYP Personal Project:
The personal project is an interdisciplinary long-term project that sophomore students persue through five stages:
Students brainstorm ideas, investigate their topic, work with a mentor to create a "product", reflect on the process, and have a chance to demonstrate their learning to a panel of observers. The focus of the project is the process studens follow. This process is demonstrated through a process joural and a final presentation.
